PetLife Tales (“we”, “us”) creates personalized digital packs for dog owners at mypetlifeplan.com. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Quiz answers — your dog's name, age, breed, personality, and your goals, which we use to create your pack.
- An optional photo of your dog — used only to paint your pack's illustrations. It is stored securely and is not used for anything else.
- Your email address and payment details — payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We receive your email so we can deliver your pack.
- Basic analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
How we use it
We use your information to create and deliver your personalized pack, provide access to your account and dashboard, send you your pack link by email, and improve the product. Your dog's details and photo are processed by AI services (OpenAI and Google) solely to generate your pack's story and illustrations.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your photo or quiz answers for advertising.
- We never send marketing email you haven't agreed to — transactional emails (like your pack link) only, unless you opt in to more.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Netlify (hosting), Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Each provider processes data only as needed to run the service.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account, your dog's photo, or any pack we've created for you at any time — contact us at hello@mypetlifeplan.com and we'll take care of it.
Children
PetLife Tales is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
